We are currently seeking a Tech Consultant - Release & Change Manager to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

Job Title: Tech Consultant – Release & Change Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Release & Change Manager to lead end-to-end release planning, change governance, environment coordination, and production readiness for enterprise technology platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ITIL Change Management, CAB governance, release scheduling, risk and impact assessment, dependency management, environment management, and CI/CD coordination. The role requires close collaboration with Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, Security, Risk & Compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, controlled, and predictable production releases.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Lead end-to-end release planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution across enterprise applications and platforms.
• Own release calendars, scope, milestones, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
• Manage ITIL-aligned Change Management processes and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews.
• Perform release risk assessments, impact analysis, dependency analysis, and rollback/backout planning.
• Coordinate release activities across Development, QA, Pre-Production, Training, Staging, and Production environments.
• Drive production readiness assessments and facilitate go/no-go decisions with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate application releases across globally distributed and follow-the-sun delivery teams.
• Identify release blockers, dependency conflicts, and delivery risks and drive mitigation plans to resolution.
• Coordinate with DevOps and Engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release execution.
• Facilitate structured handoffs between Development, QA, Infrastructure, Operations, and Support teams.
• Coordinate release-related vulnerability assessment and ensure critical security findings are remediated before production deployment.
• Support security and compliance reviews, including authentication, SSO, OAuth, and application security requirements.
• Maintain release documentation, deployment checklists, rollback plans, approvals, and audit evidence.
• Track release KPIs/KRIs and prepare dashboards and executive-level status reports.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across release and change management processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, and enterprise technology delivery.
• 4+ years of experience with ITIL Change Management, CAB governance, release planning, risk assessment, and production deployment coordination.
• 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps/Azure Boards, Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery and governance tools.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating CI/CD, environment management, security/compliance reviews, and globally distributed delivery teams.

• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation tracking as part of production release governance.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, risk, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Experience supporting internal/external audits and maintaining release control evidence.
• Understanding of OAuth, SSO, Client IDs, Client Secrets, and application authentication.
• Experience with Power BI and executive-level delivery dashboards.
• Experience with BMC Helix or similar ITSM platforms.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors and technology partners.
• Exposure to PLM, ERP, Windchill, ThingWorx, or other enterprise platforms.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted tools to automate release documentation and governance workflows.
• Basic knowledge of Bash or PowerShell scripting.
• ITIL, Scrum, SAFe, or Project Management certifications are preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, risk management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
